I am so passionate about being a part of That Sugar Film Ambassador program because I see the potential of being involved in such a well-recognised and awesome initiative, it will allow me to introduce so many extra messages of health that I want to share with Schools/Early Childhood/Indigenous Communities that otherwise may not have listened.
I am a Mummy, to three gorgeous little bundles of energy and love aged 8, 5 and 3, a wife and a Health & Wellness Coach. Our family journey to health and happiness through a journey to clean, unprocessed, additive, colour & refined sugar free whole foods, has made me passionate about teaching other families to create a healthier and happier life, reduce stress, have more energy, and reach their health goals!
I love to share with my clients how to eat real, clean, unprocessed, low sugar, amazingly delicious food AND how to be really kind to themselves, and then support them on their journey. In turn, they heal their lives and the lives of their families. I am also an advocate of living as naturally as possible, as few chemicals, additives, preservatives as possible – in food, homes and workplaces.I run a fortnightly Health, Wellness & Weight Release Support Group, here in Dubbo.
I do talks on beating the sugar addiction, how to read food labels, how to sneak extra goodness into your children’s foods, change your eating habits, being kind to yourself. I cook together with clients one-on-one and in groups, teaching them whole food recipes without refined sugar. I am involved in a growing monthly Whole food Bake Swap Group with a team of like-minded Mummas, it is really exciting to see other Mummas make the changes for their families! Always looking for new members in all of the above, so please contact me if you’re interested!!
This school holidays I am evolving into working with an Aboriginal Community Centre to teach basic healthy food & cooking to kids in after school programs. The That Sugar Film Ambassador Program provides me with a high profile approach to spreading the message of health, and I can’t wait to get the education program into our local schools, early childhood & community centres and sporting groups to spread this message even further!
I am real… I’m not perfect, we’re all on this journey together.
